HOPE now stands for Help Our Precious Environment now!

All my life, the Earth’s environment has always been a significant love. The first ultimate concrete inspiration for this website derives from Emily Dickinson’s first stanza of her poem, Hope.

     Hope is the thing with feathers

     That perches in the soul

     And sings the tune without the words

     And never stops at all

Our purpose for this site is to educate, enumerate, and evaluate our global environment. This means to show what my co-founder and I already know and hope to learn. It also means to share that knowledge logically and interestingly, and finally to contemplate that information to determine appropriate attainable actions. In other words, learn and process and then do something good! Is that a lofty goal? I sure hope so. 

All of us here and everywhere need to take care of ourselves and our surroundings. It is not only our responsibility but an absolute necessity.
